This week is Valentine’s Day. Here is a fun date night option that’s benefits will last long after date night! What is your reaction when your partner offers you a back rub? Do they offer you one? Do you hear things like “I can only do it a few minutes before my hands hurt”? Does it hurt or not hurt enough when they touch you? Do they let their ulterior motives for the back rub show up too quickly after the massage starts? I have couples massage classes available. I will show your partner how to touch you properly and make sure it feels good for you and doesn’t hurt their hands. I have some tips for making the massage useful before the ulterior motives show.
Gift certificates available! Feel free to share this newsletter with your significant other as a not-so-subtle hint: massage gift certificates are an easy wanted gift. Pass on to your friends so they can do the same.
Fun Holidays this Week:

Hydration Recipe
Keeping hydrated is an important part of staying healthy. Water promotes cardiovascular health, keeps your body cool, helps muscles and joints work better and keeps skin supple. Here is this week’s hydration recipe:
Watermelon Water
Ingredients:
2 slices of watermelon, cut into thirds or quarters
Small handful of basil, scrunched
Water
Instructions:
Slice watermelon
Scrunch basil leaves so it releases the flavor.
Combine all ingredients in a pitcher with water.
This water is best if you let the water infuse at least 1 hour or you can put some holes in the fruit with a fork for instant flavor.
