During the holidays I had quite a few people buy gift certificates for loved ones. Since then I have really been enjoying meeting the family and friends of my regular clients. I love teaching people massage is more than luxury but a way to keep your body working for you as long as possible. During the massages I often get a chance to point out daily “normal” movements that will build to cause issues later. I not only want people walking away feeling better than when they walked in; I hope to give them information they can use to continue to feel good past the initial effects of the massage. This week I want to offer you a chance to do this for a loved one. Want to make someone’s day? Give them a gift certificate! I will work my magic on their muscles and do what I can to help them reduce pain in their day to day lives and they will love you for it! Not all heroes wear capes some just send people to the right massage therapist! This week get 20% off all gift certificates!

Keeping hydrated is an important part of staying healthy. Water promotes cardiovascular health, keeps your body cool, helps muscles and joints work better and keeps skin supple.
This week’s hydration recipe:

Wash and slice strawberries.Wash mint. Fill a pitcher with water. Add strawberries and mint. Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving. Continue to fill up the pitcher with fresh water all day, discard herbs and fruit after 12 hours.
Sitting at a desk for 9 hours or more can wreak havoc on your posture sending your whole body out of whack! One simple tip is to keep your ears in line with your shoulders. If you’re leaning too far forward or backward, your posture is off-kilter. Use this trick whenever you’re sitting at your desk and your neck and shoulders will thank you for it!
